Daughter of Roselia is a memoir of the life of Norma Jean Newmont Mitchell who shortly after her birth on December 28, 1929, was abandoned by her mother and left in the care of the Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill at the Roselia Foundling Asylum and Maternity Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Eventually adopted into the loving, grounded in faith in God, Goehring family, Norma Jean buried the pain of her abandonment deep within her heart and through her smile, showered the world with love throughout her life.
